Angela – Client Case Study
Angela has been running her business for around 4 years and had only ever been putting money (as well as blood, sweat, and tears – literally) into her business each month.
She was really starting to get down about it and needed things to change for the sake of her sanity.
The work we did with her has saved her business and it means that she is now able to contribute to her family finances each month now too.
She has now moved from NOT taking ANY money home in 4 years to consistently taking home over £1.5k per month, within 4 months of working together and since that time, that has now increased to £2.5k per month.

How did she do it?
By plugging Profit First into her business.
List of Steps
ONE – WHERE WE ARE NOW?
We looked at the business, got the numbers in order, accurate and making sense.
TWO – WHERE DO WE WANT TO BE?
Draw up a Profit Plan for the business.
THREE – ADDRESSING MONEY LEAKS.
There were a LOT of them!
We cut over £2k per month in costs from her business and it had no detrimental effect on how she was running her business or the growth path that she wanted to be on.
FOUR – TWEAKING THE PLAN.
Reassessed the plan now that we were plugging leaks.
FIVE – WORK THE PLAN.
Worked the plan, month by month, getting us closer and closer to the ideal position.
SIX – THE FINANCE TEAM.
Angela outsourced her entire finance function to us to make sure that everything would run smoothly and someone would always be keeping on top of the finances.
SEVEN – DAILY, WEEKLY & MONTHLY HABITS.
Together we established who needed to do what each day, each week and month, the targets to be hitting and the responsibilities /accountability structures which worked for the business and us, as the finance function.
EIGHT – FEEDBACK LOOPS AND DASHBOARDS.
Changed up how a number of systems were working (or not working!) in Angela’s business and implemented Dashboard Reporting so that she could truly move into that CEO role and move away from being stuck in the weeds.
NINE – FIND THE HIDDEN MONEY.
This is where we are now with Angela. We are looking at moving the business model to a different one which is more in line with her vision, where the industry is heading, and what she wants her life to look like.
