My quick tip for today is build a business you want to build, not what’s expected of you by anyone else, not what your coach tells you you should build, or even your partner. It’s what you want because only then will it get you to live the life you want to live. We can all look at all these models that we get online about how to build a business, but it’s what you want to do.
I had someone recently say to me that they couldn’t grow their accounting firm because they didn’t want to take on an office. “I don’t have an office. My team all works virtually and I’m actually going to be heading on the road and travelling in Europe whilst working as well.” You do not need to conform to what everyone else in your industry has traditionally done and traditionally sees their business. You can do what you want to do and only then will you achieve the success that you want to achieve.
